We booked Dovecote not knowing the area at all but looking for a peaceful staycation. We were very excited there was a hot tub to relax in and this was clean and accessible. The welcome pack gave useful information about local pubs, menus and the Indian takeaway across the road. The Dovecote was clean. We went on a canal boat ride (£5 adults, £4 children) to see Blisworth Tunnel. We ate from the Indian takeaway and at The Navigation. Both meals were a reasonable price and very tasty. The area is lovely and was perfect for us and our dog. John was always on hand to message if we needed anything and replied promptly. We had a great stay in this lovely little get away. Peaceful, private, well kept and comfortable. The host has great attention to detail and the place had everything we needed. Great little walks, lovely beer gardens and a gorgeous canal all literally as you step out of the house - and a super relaxing hot tub too. John was super accommodating and flexible. Thanks for a lovely mini break!
